What we collect

• Account details: name, email, phone, date of birth, gender, city and country.
• Profile details you choose to add: profession, education, marital status, about me, marriage CV and photo.
• Your guardian's name, relationship and phone number, if you add them.
• Messages you send to other members.
• At stage two, a copy of your identity document.

Why we use it

To run the service you asked for: helping you find a spouse safely. We use your ID only to confirm who you are and to protect members from fraud. Because Nikah Simple is a Muslim marriage service, information you give us may reveal your religion; we use it only for this purpose.

Who can see it

• Other members see only your member number and the details you tick and admin has enabled.
• Your name, email, phone, address and guardian details are never shown at stage one.
• Your ID document is seen only by Nikah Simple admin, never by other members.
• At stage two, the other member sees only the details you choose to share.

How long we keep it

ID documents are deleted [WITHIN X DAYS] after they have been checked. Your profile is kept until you delete your account. You can delete your account at any time from My profile, which removes your details, photo, CV, ID documents and messages.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing us. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
